Supercell release second album [2011.03.16], “Today Is A Beautiful Day”

And the album title is going to be Today Is A Beautiful Day.

The album will go on sale beginning March 16th and contains all five of the band’s singles since their successful major label debut in 2009. “Today Is A Beautiful Day” will be available in two versions – a limited ‘CD+DVD’ edition and regular ‘CD-only’ Regular edition.

The cover of the regular edition is drawn by the mangaka Miwa Shirou [三輪士郎], the same artist who illustrated the cover of their debut single, “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari,” while the cover of the limited edition was provided by the artist redjuice, who contributed artwork for the band’s previous single, “Sayonara Memories.”

The DVD included with the limited edition CD+DVD version contains an animated PV for the new song, “Perfect Day,” as well as several trailers and a CM for the anime “Bakemonogatari”, featuring the song “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari.” Those who purchase the limited edition version of “Today Is A Beautiful Day” will also receive an exclusive 36-page illustration book.
